Gaza is embroiled in a humanitarian disaster, and hundreds of thousands of Gaza's women and families are in danger. They've now been plunged into darkness by the airstrike that destroyed Gaza's only power plant. What's worse, without that power plant, water treatment systems are useless. Babies and children are especially vulnerable to illness from drinking dirty water. And the bombings and airstrikes continue with no end in sight.
People in Gaza lack shelter, food and the basics to survive. With support from you and MADRE, our partners at the Palestinian Medical Relief Society (PMRS) are able to deliver vital supplies and provide critical healthcare. In this photo, PMRS volunteers pack bags with humanitarian aid. Thank you for acting on your commitment to meeting the urgent needs of women and children.
