March for Climate Justice

This Sunday, September 21, I will march to protect all that I love and the climate that sustains us all. Will you join me?
Next week, world leaders will be at the United Nations for a summit on climate policy. This cannot be just another meeting like the countless ones that came before, decades of politicians negotiating and failing to take real action.
This time has to be different. Our leaders must hear our voices and realize that we will not stand for them to trade away our futures.
If you are in New York City and would like to march with MADRE and our sisters, we will march under the banner of Women for Climate Justice. Meet us at 68th Street and Central Park West by 10:30am. More information is available in the links below.
And if you're anywhere else, click here to see how you can take action for the climate this Sunday.
With hope,

Yifat Susskind
Executive Director
P.S. MADRE has just released a report, Climate Justice Calls for Gender Justice.Click here to read about what climate change means for women's human rights, how women are organizing to confront it, and why activists for women's rights and the climate must come together.
