Report On Violations Of The Convention Against Torture In Colombia (April 2015)

The report aimed to highlight five main areas of concern regarding Colombia’s compliance with its obligations under the Convention Against Torture (CAT), and documented State actions and policies that violate numerous articles of the Convention for the Committee’s review of Colombia at its 54th Session in May 2015. The report also provided a series of concrete recommendations to the Colombian State on effective way to assume accountability, address the violations, and redress the victims.
