Protecting the Rights of Children in Iraq | Responses to the Committee on the Rights of the Child's List of Issues in Relation to: The Combined Second to Fourth Periodic Reports of Iraq (January 2015)

MADRE, the International Women's Human Rights Clinic at CUNY Law School and the Organization of Women’s Freedom in Iraq (OWFI) produced this report in consultation and collaboration with other Iraqi Women’s organizations and activists in Iraq. The report furnished supplementary information for the Committee on the Rights of Child (CRC) for its List of Issues to the State of Iraq regarding issues of honor crimes, forced, under-aged, and temporary marriages, children with disabilities, and displacement. It further puts forth a series of questions regarding the issues examined in the report to be raised to the Government of Iraq.
