Violations of the Rights of LGBT Children and Youth in Chile to the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (September 2015)

The report provides supplementary information to the Committee on the Rights of the Child for its consideration of the fourth and fifth periodic reports submitted by the Chilean government. It focuses on the situation of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) children and adolescents in relation to the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC), and examines the state of Chile’s compliance with its obligations under CRC. Furthermore, the report provides a series of recommendations to the Chilean government on concrete measures to fully restore the rights and dignity of LGBT children and adolescents.
