Climate change is a global crisis that threatens the survival of humanity. While it affects us all, poor, rural and Indigenous women are hardest hit. They endure the worst food shortages, droughts, floods and disease linked to climate change.
But they are more than victims. As frontline responders, these same women have the solutions we need to confront climate change. Our partners create the type of climate change interventions we need: community-controlled, democratic and responsive to the needs of the most vulnerable.
We provide women with tools to confront climate threats in their communities and trainings to present their demands to policymakers.
