Cuba:

MADRE is currently unable to bring delegations to Cuba. For years, MADRE has organized semi-annual delegations to Cuba. These delegations have provided thousands of people with the opportunity to gather first-hand information about Cuba, witness the impact of the decades-long US embargo on women and families and learn about Cuba's public health system, one of the best in the world despite the crisis posed by the embargo. Recently, the US Administration tightened restrictions on legal travel to Cuba. As a result, MADRE has not been issued a new license from the US Department of the Treasury, preventing us from bringing delegations to Cuba.

We will keep you posted of any changes and will notify you as soon as we are able to organize educational trips again to Cuba. For more information about MADRE's Cuba program and the US embargo, which restricts legal travel to Cuba, please visit our Cuba page.

All trips feature experienced guides and translation.

MADRE can organize specialized study tours and service projects for groups of university students, faculty, and community groups. For more information, contact travel@madre.org
