Launch of the Gender Equality Architecture Reform (GEAR) Campaign

At the fifty-second session of the Commission on the Status of Women, women's rights organizations will launch the Gender Equality Architecture Reform (GEAR) Campaign. This landmark effort will work to secure a role for women's leadership at the UN, with the development of a UN body devoted to women's issues and headed by an Under-Secretary General.
MADRE is co-sponsoring this event with the Center for Women's Global Leadership (CWGL) and other women's rights organizations.
