An evening of screenings and discussions with videomaker Carlos Efraín Pérez (Mixe), winner of the 2005 Reebok Human Rights Award. Mr. Pérez will present recent works produced with indigenous organizations in the Mexican state of Guerrero and will discuss human rights advocacy through video.

EYES ON WHAT’S INSIDE: THE MILITARIZATION OF GUERRERO (2005, 34 min.)
In Spanish with English subtitles. This documentary focuses on the experiences of two Me'phaa women, who have had the courage to speak out against sexual violence perpetrated by soldiers. New York Premiere.
