Charlotte Bunch is the founder of the Center for Women's Global Leadership at Rutgers University. She is the author of several books on feminism and global human rights activism. In 1996, Bunch was inducted into the National Women's Hall of Fame. In 1999, she was selected by United States President Bill Clinton as a recipient of the Eleanor Roosevelt Award for Human Rights. She serves on the Boards of the Ms. Foundation for Women and the Women’s Division of Human Rights Watch. Ms. Bunch has been a consultant to many United Nations bodies and recently served on the Advisory Committee for the Secretary General’s 2006 Report to the General Assembly on Violence against Women.Languages: English
