Meet MADREOn June 16, MADRE launched the new "Meet MADRE" series with an event on Women as First Responders to Conflict and Disaster. This series of events is a chance to meet the women of our sister organizations, who, with your support, are saving lives and transforming their communities day by day.

Executive Director Yifat Susskind welcomed leaders from our sister organizations. The speakers, pictured here from left to right, included Rose Cunningham of Wangki Tangni in Nicaragua; Yanar Mohammed of the Organization of Women's Freedom in Iraq; Yifat Susskind and Fatima Ahmed of our partner organization in Sudan, Zenab for Women in Development.
