GlobalGiving Gives Back to MADRE!

We have great news!

Our friends at GlobalGiving.org just chose our Sustainable Chicken Farm for Guatemalan Women project as one of their favorite projects!

As a result, we received a generous donation that will immediately be put towards our work to combat poverty and hunger in Guatemala.

MADRE partners with Muixil, a community based organization of Indigenous Ixil women in Guatemala. Together, we founded Farming for the Future, a collective income-generating project that provides the women with steady income and nutrition.

This generous donation will help Muixil continue its crucial work with Ixil women. On behalf of our sisters in Guatemala and around the world, we would like to extend a heartfelt thank-you to our friends GlobalGiving.
