Keywords: Bolivia, Latin America & Caribbean, Indigenous Rights, Economic Justice

MADRE extends its warm congratulations to President Evo Morales on the occasion of his re-election to the Presidency of Bolivia. His overwhelming victory belongs not only to President Morales, but to the great numbers of women and men including our partners at the International Indigenous Women’s Forum (IIWF/FIMI) who have placed themselves at the forefront of a struggle for Indigenous rights and economic justice in Bolivia.

MADRE is proud to have supported the training process for Indigenous women candidates in this historic election.
