Fall 2010 Speaking Tour: Haiti
Beyond Reconstruction: Women's Human Rights, Community Involvement and the Future of Haiti
Join MADRE, an international women's human rights organization, and the Lambi Fund of Haiti, supporting peasant-led community groups, for a Fall 2010 speaking tour addressing women's human rights and social justice in Haiti.
Haitian women are demanding a voice in their country's reconstruction. Hear about their perspectives and priorities and learn how human rights can be applied to rebuild Haiti on a more sustainable and just foundation.
