You helped save hundreds of lives from waterborne disease in Nicaragua
Every year, hurricane flooding dumps raw sewage and other pollutants into the drinking water supply, carrying diseases such as typhoid, dysentery and cholera. And every year, mothers are forced to watch their children die of these preventable killers.
- This year, MADRE enabled our partners at Wangki Tangni to repair 10 wells and install 2 community water pumps. These improvements will protect hundreds of women and their families from deadly waterborne disease. From all of us, thank you.
